About

I’m a brand new first time mama (FTM) who lives in Sunderland, North East of England. I became pregnant through a pandemic and funnily enough gave birth whilst we’re all STILL in a pandemic. Nevertheless, I loved every minute of my pregnancy and still haven’t came down from cloud 9 since having my baby boy: Xander Kenyon Page.

I’m an over thinker, quick talker and typer, wife, teacher, dog owner, keen cook, lover of exercise and socialising, family obsessor, home interior enthusiast and self care queen and everything else life throws at you the moment you become an adult.

I’m hoping to share with you, in the most honest way I can, the rollercoaster journey that most of us women will embark on at some point in our lives. If we’re lucky enough to create and carry a child, then I feel it’s something we should celebrate as best as we can. It’s made me feel proud, humble and content to share what I have so far. However I can’t help but feel gutted to know so many of you feel terrified or even have a phobia of birth (just like I did by the way) when it really is the most powerful, natural experience we can ever encounter. Without a doubt pregnancy, labour and the stages after NEED to be spoken of more in order to eradicate or even reduce said fears around this area. Knowledge is evidently power and through conversing, communicating and sharing with one another alongside finding the time to educate ourselves, I feel that this will help combat the overall negative vibe that seems to circulate whenever the topic is raised.
