Come on Baby…
The three words I powerfully chanted (alongside my amazing midwife) through the final pushes of the most crazily intense, yet wonderfully euphoric labour I could ever have imagined. “Come on Baby,” is something that will always stay with me, as it was in those moments that I could’ve so easily given up but the inner strength us women find when you really feel like there is nothing else you can offer whilst being only minutes away from holding life’s greatest gifts.
I’m hoping to share with you my journey from my pregnancy up until the current day. Everything changes by the hour I’ve found that out already. I was uploading onto Instagram but to avoid blagging everyone’s heads I thought it would be wise to create a separate site to share what I can with you. To some a lot of what I could write about may seem obvious, but I literally had NO IDEA about pregnancy and birth until I started to educate myself once I found out I was pregnant. So if you’re anything like I was I hope you find my posts helpful – or if you’re just someone who is interested in pregnancy like so many of us are then I hope it feeds your appetite too.

About Me
Hi, I’m Bethany. Currently on maternity leave, I became a Primary School teacher in 2015. When I’m not spending time with my wonderful husband and family, I love nothing more than writing and reading. Hopefully throughout my maternity and time away from work I can use this platform to be creative and continue writing my honest thoughts and feelings. Oh as well as winging every hurdle you come to with having a new born, but also loving each one at the same time. We’re forever learning and making sense of the best journey ever: motherhood.
